outreach

FCC wants to be known for our openness, grace, and generosity with both our time and our money. We strive to provide opportunities to serve the both our local and global community through partnerships with local, global, and denominational organizations as well as our own ministries here at FCC. We seek to serve the world and share God’s Love to all.

  • Local

FCC is committed to working for and on behalf of those in our local community here in Burlington. We seek to be Christ’s hands and feet, showing love through various ministries throughout the year: SUMM Dinner, Salvation Army Dinner, quarterly food drives benefiting a local pantry, blood drives, partnering with Blackhawk Elementary to read to and listen to children, as well as support the staff of Blackhawk at their special events, Paint-a-thon, and the local CROP Hunger Walk.

  • GLobal

FCC knows we are called to be neighbors to all people and proclaim the Good News around the world, including those who live far away. We partner with Foods Resource Bank, Global Ministries, Week of Compassion, Operation Christmas Child, and Church World Services to share God’s Love around the globe. In 2017, we partnered with Global Ministries for a People to People Pilgrimage to Nicaragua. In 2018, we will travel to Honduras with Foods Resource Bank to tour and work with local communities combating systemic hunger issues.
